One of the most complex parts of mS is its underlying game you will be able to participate in. Every part of mS is connected to the Gamification system in some way. This is not required however, if you are only interested in downloading mods you can ignore the quest system.
What is Gamification?
In simple terms Gamification entails adding game type elements to a website in the form of achievements, ranking and point earning. You have all have seen this on Steam already. Their entire level/achievement system is Gamification.
Through Gamification modSanctum can drive participation in any area of the website we choose. If we want more people to participate in helping new modders in the patron support section we can simply increase the rewards. If we want to encourage modders to fill jobs on the job board we can again, increase the reward for completing a job!
But wait, isn’t that social engineering?
Yup! This is all part of our plot to help the modding community work together better.
