Ranks are the primary way of identifying and finding the most experienced modders on modSanctum. There are 6 different ranking systems at this time and more to follow down the road.
The following rank types are available now.
Earlier we talked about levels on mS. Levels are a requirement for all ranks. They aren’t the only requirement however, some ranks have many requirements to unlock them and will be very difficult to do so. Demigod for example will take literally years and 99% of all mod authors will never achieve it, including myself.
The modSanctum rank system includes 15 ranks. All of the rank benefits are a work in progress. You can click on each rank to view the current benefits of each rank:
The other 5 current rank types are your Role Ranks. These are based on how you plan to participate on modSanctum. For example if you plan on becoming a mod author on modSanctum you must acquire the Mod Author rank (don’t worry there are other ways to become an author as well, more on that later). Or if you want to become a Mod Guide writer on modSanctum you must acquire the Mod Guru rank.
All ranks will be displayed on leaderboards as well as in your character sheet on modSanctum.
Down the road we have plans for Faction Ranks as well. This will involve some quests and missions you unlock through actions on the website.
All Ranks will come with a Title and badge that you can display on your profile as well!! More on the title system later.
